The Tulsa County District Court is split into five divisions: civil, criminal, family, juvenile, and probate. The civil division handles cases involving personal injury, property disputes, contract claims, mortgage foreclosure, eminent domain, and other non-criminal matters. You must file an appeal within 30 days of the judgment.

How to Get Tulsa Civil Court Records

In person, visit the Court Clerk on the 2nd floor at 500 South Denver, Room 200. Fill out a request form with the case number, party names, and filing date. Bring a photo ID. Pay the copy fees. Certified copies cost $1.00 per page plus the standard copy fee. Regular copies run $1.00 for the first page and $0.50 for each page after. For family court records like divorce or child support, the Family Relations counter on the 2nd floor handles those.

Include your name, contact info, specific case details, and whether you need certified copies. Add a self-addressed stamped envelope. Make the check out to the Court Clerk. Tulsa Civil Court Records Fees

Tulsa County follows the state fee schedule from Title 28, Section 31. Copies cost $1.00 for the first page and $0.50 for each extra page. Certification is $0.50 per document. Authentication costs $5.00. The County Clerk's recording division charges a bit different for land records: $0.25 per page for legal size or smaller, $0.50 for ledger size, and $1.00 per certified page.

If you need the staff to spend a lot of time on a search, they can charge $25 per hour after the first hour. That is allowed under the Open Records Act. For most simple requests, there is no search fee. OSCN searches are always free. On ODCR, basic searches are free but document images need a paid plan at $5 or $55 per month depending on the level.
